Mumbai is not like the rest of India. It is a one in a million kind of place, and definitely worth going to experience it. It is not to hide that the city is very challenging and can be intense. Imagine having 16 million inhabitants and rising, all living and working on a not so spacious peninsula. This then increases the levelof intensity, bringing more and more people together in many different ways and also adding to the city's brilliance.

The Hindu population great commitment (wearing traditional clothing, practising customs such as vegetarianism (in fast food restaurants you get a veggie and chicken burger only, no beef as this is a sacred animal) :)
Many things were really new to us and we had to ask a lot of questions
and not just the basic language things.

Real estate prices in Mumbai are reaching numbers of the ones in NY or London, the economy is growing very fast, Mumbai is 'the place to be for the investment, being the financial capital of India. The paradox is that right now we didn’t see that development or people who create it .
The place which appeared to be like a spot out of different world, accumulating many creative minds was 'Zenzi' bar. We as Smirnoff Ten were honoured to hold an exhibition of our best travel – night life photography. DJane NAME was apparently the best feminine house music dj from the indian scene. The guests were some celebrities like famous photomodel Carol, some TV faces, photographers, artists, foreign and local musicians. And the feedback was very positive. The main attraction of the afternoon was that a kind of auction. Everybody who liked any photograph, wrote his/hers on a paper next to it and at the end of the event, we chose one name to get a picture.

***
On another occasion to experience some more of India, we were invited to glimpse into the Bollywood Studios. They are located in the suburbs of Bombay between woody hills. Driving down empty, quite narrow asphalt roads you can see in a distance different wooden 'fortresses'. From outside you just see huge construction, which may consist a whole 'fake' town inside. These are the film sets. They are kept in secret one from another, as there are many productions being filmed simultanously. And each of them is worth millions of dollars.
That is why we were not allowed to take photographs on the set, with cute fake, but 'real' perspective painted city panorama.

A sign on the entrance gate to one of the sets.

The stongest moment was to meet the big stars - ... They do emanate a noble kind of energy. We felt honoured to meet idols of so many people. It was a special moment.

Mysteriously hot summerdayz in Melbourne

Just lying in a city park on the hill in the grass, letting my feet be touched by the sun. Enjoying summer. It's a sudden jump into a long expected summer happy atmosphere of this kind I know from home. With a smell of trees, of green, empty hot streets of a city waiting until sunset to get fulfilled. People find their favourite tree and grass space to lie on with a book or notebook. They just stop the rush and enjoy a meditative break in the city.
But today is different than any other day. We have the first day of a new year, and we reunite with the other half of the Smirnoff Ten – from the Sydney versus Melbourne New Years Eve Challenge.... at Melbourne 'Summerdayz' festival.
In a huge city park in 42 degree heat with thousands of people and many smaller and bigger stages, we The Smirnoff Ten had our amazing Smirnoff Ice igloo. Of course not made out of ice, just a designed igloo, with sophisticated bar and best barman, dancing space for about 100 people and a small DJ booth over the bar. The DJ booth which appeared to be the source of great surprises... One of the greatest was Sister Bliss mixing a live act. It felt absolutely special to be there as we were a very small audience... We danced for many hours, enjoying the company of so many wonderful people...

Australian Adventure

One of the most joyful experiences from Australia I certainly has was our (mine and Luiza's) spontaneous trip to the beach.... somewhere in the south of Victorian state. As Luiza is a lovely beach addict and always craves for a beach, she made a research on this subject and found a few places. Until the last moment of jumping into train, we were undecided, but we chose apparently the one known as the most beautiful in the area, which was 3 hours away from Melbourne! (Great Ocean Road)....
The train and then bus were both overcrowded with young people, so we wondered, what was the cause? As we later discovered, by talking to a nice guy picnicing alone on the grass close to the bus stop, everybody was heading to Falls New Year's Festival. He was the one, who inspired us to act as we did.
It wasn't his first time there, so he was able to give us sufficient information.
It was the biggest music festival in the whole Australia, foreseen for 15000 people, just in the middle of the Australian bush.

Yes we were excited and ready for an adventure!

On our way there, tt was so funny, because we kept on meeting and losing different people in the bush, who were heading to the same place..we have been secretly helping each other by listening together to the sounds of the bush and then estimating the direction and showing it with a hand... only sometimes everybody had different opinion... time was passing by, we lost 'the way' few times, getting more and more scratched by all kinds of grasses and branches,...'cool' to wear a beach skirt.... hmm....nature..., crossing small rivers, walking under gigantic 'jurassic' polypodies, or just meeting wild wallabies...
In the moment we had had enough, we met a group of 7 or 10 guys, smiles came back....they helped us, but we lost them again....anyway it didn't take much longer to get there...I only say normally it takes about 1.5 hours to make this trip – we needed 3.5 hours.....

***
One amazing thing happened after another...once you start off....We got out of the bush with no real plan – we didn't have a tent, or sleeping bag, or warm clothes, what we realized at the sunset, as it got chilly.....let's just walk, walking is good :-) and then by crossing one of the huge parking areas, accidentally we met the group of the guys we had met in the bush and ...well they adopted us....They had their own camp with a huge group of their friends, brothers, sisters, cousins, living partly in vans, or tents – all from a small city two hours south of Sydney. Our new family... next to our new house which was a VW van...

***

The festival was just GREAT!!! During the day it had a relaxed atmosphere, and the evenings were little bit wilder with more shiny stars (than these millions on the sky).

The best thing about this place in the middle of bush were the people.
Everybody was so normal, so relaxed and friendly. You could start a conversation just like that with anybody, or just join any group of people and party with them together. Some of them were organizing collectives, like for example, Jack, who was inviting random passers-by to chillout under his blankets in the middle of a side road... And some people were recognizing us already as 'the two foreign girls from the bush' and were inviting us to their group of friends... amazing isn't it? The festival had this pleasant little bit of a hippie touch not only because of the atmosphere, but because of really good food as well. There were many stands all with super healthy and organic, great tasting food, but my favourite was the fresh pressed juice bar with a nice chill out lounge. The only difference was that the mixers were powered by a man on a bicycle:-)

So you sure want to ask me if it was worth all of the scratches to get there?
YEEEESSSS!!!! Only we could not stay until the end of festival as we were supposed to spend NYE in Melbourne at a Felix da House Cat party....
Work is work.... :-) Keep on rocking !!!

DIFFERENT BEAUTY

It happened just by accident, that I had a chance to discover/to meet/to taste the real underground scene of Sydney. People who you never see in the city, about whose existence only few know.
As we were organising our Smirnoff Ten Christmas Party in one gallery space, the owner asked me how I found this place, as there were only a few such places in Sydney and rather unknown and uncommon.
Things just happen. Just on my second day in Sydney, I enjoyed an afternoon in one nearby arty cafe with a young intellectual crowd. There, on the way to toilet I just grabbed an interesting looking exhibition flyer. It happened to be 'THE' place with freedom to get creatively wild. I contacted him and everything worked out as you can see in our Australian video, but at the end of our party Pete, the owner asked me if I would like to continue with him and his friends – the night was still kind of young so why not?

It was well organized as well. Outside on a parking space was a chill out, chatting and smoking area. Then there was a huge hall filled with art objects and another room with atelier leftovers to give away. Then we entered another hall – a music hall with stage, dancefloor in front and a DJ booth. Next was a bar and another hall accomodated for DJs. The line up was planned carefully, as performers changed in a time circle and music was really involving – from drum 'n bass, to punk, metal, even live a group of about 15 drummers., and electro.
So we were circulating between the halls. It was great and long lasting :-)

The only sad thing was that I met these art environment on my last Sydney night, but I hope you guys take care and meet you soon – Underworld is not dead!

We drove for a long while... but it was worth as we met a different world. Something that we had never seen before – real anti-fancy Sydney underground.
The venue was an old ice cream factory taken over by a group of artists, whose studios were there for 15 years and that night was the last official night of
existence of that place. It was huge and full of creative looking people.
Conscious personalities, self designed characters in very often self designed clothes. I haven't seen such a variety of characters in the two weeks I’d been in Sydney as there was in that one night. It was beautiful. Art was present everywhere. I felt really happy to be able to see and experience this phenomena.

Australia...

It almost felt like London, but brighter with very strong Asian influence. It just feels so good to have an excellent sushi bar on every corner and people speaking English.
We (me, Audette, Akona and Kung) came with almost a week after the others. so the rest of the team was fully integrated with local life and. We concentrated on Kings Cross, 24-hour party district. We found amazing cocktail bars, fancy clubs, interesting bars, even one small hyper bar, where at the entrance you’re asked to compose a costume for yourself from the clothing pieces available. As you see on the picture Kareem tuned into 80-ies wearing pink leather jacket. Some of our impressions of Kings Cross are here featured like 24h open snack bars or the butterfly from Soho club, known as favourite of Kylie Minogue from her early days. Or me tasting one of the best cocktails ever – hibiscus daquiri... In other words Sydney's club/bar scene is of big variety and everyone will always find something interesting...

*PARADISE ISLAND

How would you describe paradise? What is paradise?
Is it about the place or about the feeling? State of mind? Or maybe both?
I was very lucky to experience paradise in Morro de Sao Paulo in Bahia, Brazil.
Was it the warm breath of the ocean relaxing my feet or the warm sand?
Or maybe hypnotizing view of neverending waves smashing against the rocks?
Palms, coconuts, green, blue, yellow, blue....
Friendly sea, yellow striped fishes, just floating for hours in the salty blue, blue, blue soup
Brazilian flags as beach towels all over the beach....joyful beautiful people..
Amazing sunsets, amazing sunrises watched from a hammock,
millions of stars in the blackness of the sky
being right in every action, just being
nothing to add nothing to take away
close to nature measuring and feeling so correctly your own human powers
walking, climbing, swimming, running, laughing, cheering, laughing ..
you and you
wind in your hair, wind on your face, salt on your lips,
how beautiful
time stops
you and your mind
every moment
here and now...

open blue sky
szeleszczaca parasolka ponad glowa
blue blue blue
zielony kokos kolo
mojego blue bikini
ponad oceanem
ogarniety niebieskoscia

To all the people who kissed me on the street....

Next day we got a chance to understand the phenomena of Carnaval even better, as we were about to take part in the 'Bloco do Nana.' Whatever it meant it was famous for its wild block of street parade. Why famous? Somebody said it was the most fashionable for its frivolous ways! Mainly everybody was kissing everybody...

We found ourselves in the middle of a jumping crowd with no escape... the only way is to jump with them, and try to escape from unwanted kisses... or enjoying the ok ones...we even saw a guy with a counter!!!

crazy, crazy, crazy....

It took us several hours of jumping to the rythms of samba, and singing with the crowd...

The end of the parade for us was in the lounge camarote 'Do Nana'.
It was huge – from a street side it was like a club, but it continued through different lounges and even a small live band's stage right through to a beach....

The music of the live band was all over the beach, so everybody could keep on dancing on the sand or in the water... freestyle whatever you want, but keep on moving, keep on going... our South African friend Suzanne even gave us a bellydancing show... The band kept on playing – it seemed like the set list was repeating, but the public was still dancing.. In front of the stage, it was very popular to make spontanous group choreography, like from a kind of musical - so much fun!!!! So refreshing! Even when you felt like you could not dance anymore you kept on going...

What are you doing during a lunch in hotel when you've been dancing samba last few nights? The answer is simple – you dance samba!

No, but seriously we needed a break, so the next day cured our sore muscles in a hotel pool with our Brazilian friends ...blue blue blue – pool, ocean and the sky... does so much good for the soul!

I think the philosophy of Carnaval is 'Let's go ecstatic, the night is coming!'

Tonight we were going to our favourite special Camarote Espresso 2222. And I knew that a dj friend of mine – Ramilson Maia is going to perform in Trio Electrico (on the truck in the street parade) with a carnival Diva – Daniela Mercury. It was all amazing almost transcendental. As they were passing our lounge the Diva was singing one of my beloved songs ' Palco' and that together in a spontanous duet with Gilberto Gil, whom I was standing almost next to...
So I enjoyed a dialog, as if I would be a part of it..I love to be in the right time right place :-)

The energy was so intense I was electrified and hypnotized. It was unforegettable and very strong, almost a kind of archetypical experience of unity with the singing masses, a whole nation repeating same lines of the song and waving their hands...and the Diva looking your direction....unity with something bigger than me myself and I, with something overpersonal and universal. Being so present, so much aware of every moment, absolutely excited...

That night we saw many more great artists. Among them was Fat Boy Slim. Criusing around balconies or different facilities or the Smirnoff Black lounge with amazing drum and bass, Brazilian or elektro music. Our Ben had a chance to dj there as well, so great!!

We were in the lounge of Smirnoff Black and here we got best service with the best fruity cocktails you could imagine...

***

Mission accomplished. It is 9a.m on the last day of Carnaval in Salvador. We made it – we have been working out hard along to never ending samba rhythms. It is time to go to hotel as in few hours we have to catch a boat to a nearby island - Morro de Sao Paulo.... to discover more of the beautiful spirit of Bahia.

But we will be back!!! Hasta la vista!!!

Carnival

Carnival...well what to expect? – There is no way to imagine it before you really experience it...

First impressions? On the plane from Frankfurt people already seemed to be more cheerful than normal passengers, and we knew the weather was expected to be hot...hot hot hot.... At the airport we were greeted by perfect pleasant hot weather, as well as– a Bahian girl in a Bahian dress...

Everything was perfectly organised by Smirnoff, so after 30 hours travelling from Shanghai, we could just relax on our way to hotel and enjoy the beach views from a van...

It was still hard for us to imagine what was about to happen - what is this Carnival everybody is getting so excited about? huh?

One of the first Carnival tasks was to pick up the Carnival shirts, called abadas, which act as tickets. We had to be extremely careful with them, as they had unimaginably great value, a bag full of one sized shirts! Hmm interesting.

So, what the whole Carnival nation does, is customise the t-shirts. We were saved by the spellbinding qualities of a few seamstresses, working 8 hours a day in a small, specialized hotel room to make your individual breathtaking creation in just in few moments. They worked magic.

So we had our first meeting and 70 Smirnoff guests were divided into a few small groups. Each group got a guide were briefed on how to stay safe in the crowd– called pipoca. Why? You must imagine that every shirt is a kind of valuable ticket, a sign of belonging to a special group – either of a certain camarote (like a club or a lounge), or a street block. It is a street parade within a certain group and music – accompaning parade trucks. You wouldn’t want to lose your ticket.

And what is interesting to know, is the fact that in every city, Carnaval is different. It has a different style and tradition.... In Rio (which I haven't seen, but have heard about from Brazilian friends) it is more like a competition of samba schools, which you could compare to our soccer league...they train for a whole year to give a professional, amazing and many hours long samba performance. Meanwhile in Salvador, everybody is invited to take an active part – meaning to literally go to the streets and to challenge yourself with a neverending long samba dancing challenge....And only in Salvador there are like 2 or 3 routes of Carnaval - one is even 7 hours long!

For the first evening and then two other nights of Carnaval we were invited to Camarote Espresso2222, which belongs to Gilberto Gil and his wife:

he’s Brazilian minister of culture and a singer all in one. This lounge is more special than all others, as you cannot buy tickets to get there – it is for invitations only.
That's why you can meet many prominent personalities like actors, singers, artists, or just high society of Brazil there.

But we all became one in the face of Carnaval. I was just standing at one of the 3 huge balconies (actually in the vip area ;-)) and admiring the breathtaking energetic street performance.

You could see a neverending river of happy joyous crowds moving their bodies sensually, joyfully and fantastically to the samba rythms, opening your heart to love and joy, unseparated from anybody, just feeling part of this joyful, floating mass. Just singing and cheering with everybody. Just freely flirting with the space and with Carnaval!!! So much joy, beautiful people!!

Smirnoff Experience Shanghai

On entering the huge hall in Shanghai, it was with a great deal of curiousity of what kind of surprises were waiting for the guests at the next Smirnoff global event, in Shanghai, because these are some of the most innovative and original events worldwide.
Ok here goes; I’ll take you on a walk through of the event…
At the front door you are welcomed warmly welcomed and invited to create your own welcome drink by walking along a bar and choosing the ingredients you prefer. The beverages, flavours, mixers, and garnishes - the choice is not easy as there are 1320 possible combinations… all of them tasty and creative! Great idea! Just around the corner another attraction is waiting for us - the beautiful chill out area has real and fresh smelling silver birchwood forest. Awesome - there you wear headphones and listen to birds singing.... which teletransport you successfully to Russian taiga forests....
We keep on going and on the left we see a tapas lounge - where you and your friends can share a selection of drinks as tapas. Further on is the digital wall, which was at the Moscow event, but no less popular. It's always amazing to get your face painted digitally on a wall and let it disappear again in the darkness of a club...
There we go... a water bar hidden behind a huge wall of white pearls with only girly hands giving bottles of water to passers-by visible.
Then we can get a Polaroid photo with a Moscow background and artificial snow snowing all the time.... on special request there are some Russian winter clothes available and big woollen hats... original and funny. Everybody is encouraged to dress up...Then we get to one of my favourite parts - the Japanese inspired puzzles in big size called tangrams... they train abstract thinking and finding new unexpected solutions...it's quite fun watching people, struggling and training their brain in the middle of a party, specially when friendly helping girls countdown the time, as you have only 1.5 min... (I did try that being cheered on by the Polish group...we managed to build our sailing boat in time).
After this great variety of attractions we come to the main one - the stage, where so many exciting and unexpected performances were happening...

I really loved the battle of drummers, DJ’s and MC’s from The Lab – non-profit Shanghainese platform for DJs - with Tom Middleton. The most surprising probably was to find Chinese Rasta men with seriously long dreadlocks tied up, or ladies drumming as hard as gentlemen. Than we had English rock group Hard-Fi entertaining us with the warm, but grungy voice, which makes you stop and eager to listen to - great performance. And the last, but not the least was the DJ, Sasha playing an electronic rock remix set with a few great hits. If you would like to hear more about the line up - check it out in our Smirnoff Ten videos.

Another interesting place to be and to take a breath between performances, or a good chat area was at the martini bar. It was nothing like any other bar you could imagine. Dark, spacious room with four boards, featuring four different martinis lit up. Just by the entrance you were welcomed with snacks and fruits and directed to go around a huge table clockwise. Waiting for you were specially designed small glasses divided into, and filled with, four different flavours and colours. These you tasted clockwise to be able to recognize them afterwards and to choose your favourite one, in a normal martini glass further round the table. There was basil martini, pear cinnamon, ginger and green tea martini. Then you were moved to a kind of lounge, always crowded, beloved chat area to enjoy your drink.
Generally I found the event focused on and demanding creativity from its guests, like forcing you to make your own choices, to experiment, to interact, to come out of your shell of passive watcher and to enjoy the party in the original way! Cheers!

Kloofing...

As usual nobody could really tell and know what was about to happen. Luiza and I were waiting at the abseiling office at 7am for everybody to appear.

Our uber macho guide, a red bearded kind of bushman, greeted us warmly, but with doubts if two nice ladies could handle the whole day trek. When the rest of the team appeared (3 Irish people, 1 American) we jumped into an old VW van and drove for a good while. After breakfast and a very short training session we set off. Our destination was called 'Kamikaze Canyon'. After a while of walking along the road we crossed a bridge over a tiny shallow river flowing gently into the ocean. Yes it was the beginning and the end of our canyon, so we entered the national park.

The route was not easy to find without a guide. Walking through bushes, between rocks, crossing the river many times, which got deeper and unregulated, so we had to jump from stone to stone, holding grasses or sometimes just get wet. The altitude was growing so the canyon was more and more rocky. It would be dangerous to meet the perpetually bad tempered baboons or touch some poisonous plants – but we knew which ones, or just falling down the rocks.

After an hour of sweaty, fast, but careful trekking we came to the first pools. There was a cute waterfall and a rock just next to it... our first challenge was to jump 10m from the top or from a ledge which was 7m. Nobody was obliged to jump, but that was why we were there. We all started with 10m. Getting the last instructions on technique, and trying to overcome fear, we jumped one by one.

You can jump well only when you don't fear and when you really want it. You must find somewhere in your mind the feeling of trust in the space and to yourself to jump, because as you stand up there it always looks impossibly high. It doesn't matter if the jump is 3 or 83 meters.

It's important to consider jumping before you begin, not when you are standing on the edge, because it makes it even more difficult. When you are on the edge you just jump without thinking. So did I with one exception only... the first time, I stood there a little bit too long, concentrating on technical issues, my mind didn't have fear, but my body got soft and shaky, so my mind started to consider...this was a mistake! To rescue the situation I decided not to think at all and just to jump. I jumped, but being used to bungee jumping and diving, I went with my head down and wide-open arms. The rest of the group hid their mute screaming mouths with both hands and eyes wide open as I entered the water with the best style straight body dive (after I realized my mistake in milliseconds of being airborne I thought I have no choice, but to make the best out of it ;-))

It was a good dive into red, mineral rich, cool mountain pool, with no pain, no hurt...just joy – I was the first person in the history of this place to do it and I got respect of our guides. What I did just after were three 7-meter jumps in the correct way, but every time making others' hearts beating faster. Everything afterwards became more relaxed. We went higher up the canyon and were delighted by more scenic views. There were a few more waterfalls, pools and pleasant strong sun. The guys continued jumping from 14 – 24 meters but Luiza and I were satisfied with our 10m. It was a perfect day, we felt it was so natural to be there, so close to nature...just walking, climbing rocks, jumping into water, swimming, getting massaged by waterfalls chilling out on the rocks between sun, waterfall and rainbows. We felt so free getting burned by sun, then deciding which rock to jump down, swimming there, free climbing, jumping...Then we abseiled down one wall with a beautiful water cave finish, but it was a piece of cake after Table Mountain experience....

Sorry for no pics, but we might get them one day from our companions...

Extreme Day

Beautiful Cape Town has a huge range of outdoor activities, from shark cage diving, sky-diving, beach horse-riding, surfing, sandsurfing and many others. We decided within the group to have an 'extreme day'. For some of us it was an extreme scripting or editing day or an extreme shopping day. After doing research everybody had made their choice for the day.

I decided to try, for the first time in my life, a kind of canyoning locally called 'Kloofing’. Before Kloofing I thought a small dose of adrenaline would be a good warm-up. Driven by this idea, together with Luiza who’s always ready for adventure, we found ourselves on the top of Table Mountain. Stunning view! On top its flat and kilometers long. Like a wild fairytale land, but the edge ends up with 1000m high drop. So, of course, my strongest desire was to abseil down! I have never really done it before, but I knew I wanted to do it. Even though there were a few unsure, soft legged, adrenaline charged moments, when you are not able to imagine what would happen! I was the last client on that day and because of that I had to go down alone. There would be somebody waiting for me at the bottom I was told. The guys were tired after hanging out the whole day in the sun, bored and keeping themselves busy by telling jokes. Not the most ideal feeling of security! After a short know-how intro, people were just disappearing mysteriously behind the edge of the rock 1000m over sea level... one last wave to your friends and off you go!
So did I. Still unsure of the technique it took me the first, 10 breathless meters to understand either I do it right and enjoy or I have no other choice :-)

Take a deep breath or two, stop, enjoy the views... and then just the half of my brain, in permanent adrenaline shock was controlling the hand steering the rope and my legs walking down the mountain, while the other half was howling for the beauty of the world and could just not believe what my eyes saw. I was just hanging alone, too small to be seen on the huge mountain canvas, forgotten by the world, together with the sun, sky, ocean, never-ending space, mind play, on a 112 meter long walk...

Then, the rock finished. They call it 'a little surprise' – the ground disappears and you swing on the rope in space...it's the best and you never want it to finish....

Next was an intense wild hike up the mountain, and it took a good 20 minutes and a lot of sweat.

The instructions were easy; on the right is death, on the left – life... We saw an incredible huge eagle patrolling the landscape from the neighbouring edge of the mountain... Getting the taste of the mountains I was even more excited for the next day... the even more challenging Kloofing experience...

South Africa

We had been invited by a good friend of our guide Zeke to an unusual house party. The good friend was Kahn, someone who had joined us as we partied at the Goldfish party, and he happened to be the lead vocalist of 'The Parlotones'.

The Parlatones are a popular indie band strongly connected with Johannesburg and London.

The party took place in a huge house hidden behind Table Mountain, in a highly protected suburb. The house had such a big garden, that it felt unnatural to walk from the main gate to the house entrance –it really had the Beverly Hills touch. This cute blond woman dressed as a punk greeted us warmly at the entrance and told us her story...she had won a radio contest and the prize was The Parlotones to play in her house for 30 friends with a fully sponsored party –drinks and pizza. We had enough time to meet her guests and to interview her with her natural charm in front of camera, with a nice turquoise pool in the background. The guests were a nice mix of local young people, a lot of them engaged in the production of Cape Town's nightlife...

******

The show began...everybody was ready and excited...band were ready, we were ready to film...on the small steps in front of the stage were excited girlfriends of the host (Cali) who wanted to say few words into the microphone...She thanked everybody and then revealed not only that it's her Parlotones party, but engagement day as well. We were shocked and moved as she told us her love story and how great her fiancée was. All the women had tears in their eyes searching in thoughts, dreams and memories for this legendary true love....

Yeah let's rock!!! Band starts to play. The space vibrates with love, passion and energy. Everything feels perfect, in its right place, but somehow like in a different land...abstract dreamland? Everybody trusts and believes the lyrics and Kahn. His sweat makes his make up even more bizarre, flowing down his cheeks. His big eyes and his programmed rhythms and musical hands explain stories in the songs. Great performance. Very authentic and emotional.
